Sailors of the Quarter are recognized by their command for meritorious service and outstanding performance at their duty stations. The Phoenix Council of the United States Navy League recognizes Sailors of the Quarter from our adopted ship, USS John Finn (DDG 113), homeported in San Diego, California, four times a year.

We welcome and bring the selected Sailors of the Quarter to the Phoenix, Arizona, area to visit with our council members to honor them for their achievements and to show our appreciation for their service to our country. The sailors meet with Phoenix Navy League council members, local dignitaries, and attend local sporting events, celebrations and activities.
