We are the Phoenix Council of the Navy League of the United States. Our membership is approaching 330 men and women and we are an active group and welcome you to become a member.

Our Council sponsors various events throughout the year for our members and interested parties. At these events we feature a variety of speakers mostly military related and they are all interesting and informative.

We have adopted the U.S. Navy's guided missile destroyer USS JOHN FINN (DDG 113), the amphibious assault ship USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD 8), the guided missile cruiser USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CG-57) and our local Junior Naval and Marine Corps ROTC units and Navy Sea Cadets. Currently we award the Navy League's Theodore Roosevelt Youth Medal to a deserving cadet at sixteen different Arizona high schools and Sea Cadet units across the state.

There is no limit to what we can do as a group to serve our mission. We are a 501(c)(3) corporation and can raise money with tax benefits for donors. More importantly, though, we need individuals who can organize events, do public relations with local businesses, interface with veteran organizations, and a host of other tasks. By providing information about and links to various sea services, we believe together we can improve the lives of those who serve (and their families) and improve the security and maritime interests of the United States of America.
